Kids love the daily sentence. It’s been great for children to really embed what that sense of a sentence is, so when they write now they know what they need, and they know when a sentence ends so we’re not getting run on sentences.

With the crowded curriculum, having passages that are linked to history, science and technology, really helps you teach cross-curricular writing through different areas.

This growth was especially evident as our first trial grade completed NAPLAN. Watching students confidently use their planning time to create a written scaffold before beginning their piece was phenomenal. It was clear they understood how critical it is to plan their writing before drafting.
